Bright Journey Care Solutions is proud to share that our submission to the Senate inquiry into the National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026 has been formally accepted and published.

The Senate Standing Committees on Community Affairs confirmed that the submission was accepted as a formal submission and published as Submission 2979. It also formed part of the material available to Committee members when considering the inquiry and the Bill.

Contributing to the Future of the NDIS

The NDIS plays an important role in the lives of hundreds of thousands of Australians with disability, their families and support networks.

As an NDIS provider working directly with participants, families, Support Coordinators and allied health professionals, we believe it is important that the experiences of those working within the sector are represented when significant changes to the Scheme are being considered.

Bright Journey’s submission was lodged with the Senate Community Affairs Legislation Committee as part of its inquiry into the National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026.

Our Commitment to Participants

For Bright Journey Care Solutions, contributing to the inquiry reflects the same principles that guide the support we provide every day.

We want participants to have access to supports that promote choice, independence, safety, stability and meaningful outcomes.

As the NDIS continues to evolve, we believe reform should remain focused on the people the Scheme was established to support. Changes should consider the practical impact on participants and the families, carers and professionals who support them.

Having our submission formally accepted provides an opportunity for our experience and perspective to contribute to that broader discussion.

Continuing to Advocate for Better Outcomes

Bright Journey Care Solutions will continue to follow NDIS reforms closely and help participants, families and Support Coordinators understand changes that may affect their supports.

We will also continue to advocate for an NDIS that supports:

  • Participant choice and control
  • Safety and continuity of care
  • Person-centred support
  • Clear and accessible information
  • Sustainable, high-quality disability services
  • Better long-term outcomes for participants

Being part of the conversation about the future of the NDIS is important to us, and we are pleased that our submission was included in the material considered by the Senate Committee.

Because we believe every participant deserves a Bright Journey.
